What do you want the Libertarian Party of Minnesota to be doing?

Should we be educating citizens about Libertarian ideas? Should we be influencing legislation and legislators?  Should we be running our own candidates? For me, the answer is D. All of the above. There is a case to be made for each of those directions. If you’re like me though, one of them will resonate more with you than the others.  Whichever it is, or even if it is more than one, what are you doing about it?

This party is only as influential as its members wish to be. Without an active membership – we will be inactive in the world of politics.

Every hour volunteered is worth thousands of hours of internet debate. Every dollar contributed speaks louder than thousands of complaints about what the party is not doing. Every active member, even on the smallest of projects and tasks, is worth thousands of passive followers.

I implore you to think about what direction you want the party to go – and think about what you can offer to make that goal a reality. For my part, I want to see you succeed. Your success is a party success. And the Libertarian Party of the future will be built upon our successes today.

So tell me, and I do mean it, please email me and tell me what you want the Libertarian Party of Minnesota to be doing and how you can contribute to that goal – and I will do as much as I can to support your success. I’ll connect you to others with similar goals. I’ll help get you resources. I’ll put in the hours to make leaders out of all of you, or at least I’ll go crazy trying. That’s my commitment to you and to this party. What’s yours?
